On the Road

Yeah, our day is here!  Hard to believe!  We are hoping to pull out in the next hour or two or three :)  We are getting the last things packed and then our adventure begins.   Dave was able to finish up the deck and he did a GREAT job!!!  We can't wait to have everyone over to enjoy it!

Annika FINALLY lost her tooth so we are glad the tooth fairy was able to find her.  We did have some bad news.  Our air conditioning died!  But the good news is, we are leaving and it doesn't matter right now :)My AMAZING sister took all the kids swimming today so they did not need to be in the hot house and I could get things done.  THANK YOU SO MUCH TAMI!!!!

Helping to pack?? I don't think so!

I think it will fit!

We are driving 21 hours straight tonight to my parents house so we appreciate prayer as we are starting out tired.  But we are all excited for our adventures that God has waiting for us and for our time together.  Thank you for your prayers!!!

  2. Hey Tracy and Dave,
We are and have been praying for you! Thinking of you even more, now that you are out on the road! Mom updated me on the chance of storms you might be hitting along the way. I will try to check up on you here. Feel free to update me some on FB too. :) I cannot figure out how to get automatic email updates with these blogs. Todd H. from Joel's work has a blog and it gives a notice when he updates??? So, we haven't been using our blog a lot.

Durango rafting, yes - you can buy a $20 cd, but our pics weren't good enough to buy... the other family traveling w/us got their cd... they had more weight in the boat and more people, so they got some better splash pictures.

The bugs were the worst in VA... we have used some bug spray, but not as much as sunscreen! Sunscreen has been important. Allison got burned one day and peeled a bit on the shoulders... it was a travel day when we got out at the Cross and didn't think we'd be there that long.... sunburn.

Can't wait to here more from you guys. So excited for all of you! Congrats on the great deck!!!! Sorry about the AC, but you don't need it right now.... :) Love to all!
